As your class president, I often (OK, every five years) long for a few hanging chads that might have thrown the election the other way. But I do hereby undertake my solemn duty to organize and pull off another Class of 1987 reunion.
This is Jeremy Nafziger, by the way. We have lived in Weyers Cave, Va., for the last three years. Before that, we lived in Northern Virginia, where I worked for a software company as a writer and analyst. I also do freelance writing and editing. Three years ago, with our fourth child on the way, we wanted to buy a house, and finding that pretty much impossible in Northern Virginia, we looked down here. My employer let me work four days from home, and on Wednesdays I go Up There. We home school the kids that are old enough for schooling. Eli will be 8 this summer, Augusta (Gussie) will be 7, Atticus will be 4, and Helena will be 3 in February 2008. We have a dog, a cat, 25 or so chickens, and two rabbits.
